The hotel offers direct access to transportation right across from the train station.
The air conditioning was noisy and had a strange mechanism that made the room stuffy.

Great daily buffet breakfast.
Our first night was horrendous! There was a staff member outside our room at 12:15 am, talking loudly on their phone and disturbing our sleep. My pillow reeked of curry, resulting in a rash on my face! When I asked the front desk to call a taxi for our early flight, they unhelpfully said it was too late and suggested we figure it out ourselves, nearly causing us to miss our departure.

Perfect spot for Venice access!
Had a solid stay for 3 nights. It’s super close to the train station, so getting into Venice was a breeze! The room was clean and comfy. Had a decent breakfast too, they offered a nice spread. Only thing was the noise from a bar next door—it kept me up a bit on the last night.

Proximity to train station, access to supermarkets, soundproof accommodations
Only two outlets in the room!!! A loud air conditioning unit that is inconsistent!!! That bathroom needs a serious remodel to improve functionality and design!!! Finding the entrance was confusing due to poor signage!!!

The hotel is perfect for families! We stayed in a spacious room that comfortably fit our crew of five kids. The location is fantastic, just a quick train ride to Venice, making trips to the city a breeze. Plus, it's close to a great pizza place!
My kids wished there were bigger tables at breakfast for all of us to sit together comfortably.

I recently spent 4 nights in a Superior Double or Twin Room, and I loved the cozy vibe while enjoying a lovely breakfast with tons of options. I really appreciated being able to unwind in the lobby area or take a relaxing walk outside in the fresh air. The only downside was that the room had a bit of an old feel, but it didn't ruin my stay at all! 😊

The Hotel Plaza in Mestre stands out for its superb location right across from the train station. This made getting into Venice a breeze, just a quick 10-minute ride. The room I had was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed, perfect for a good night's sleep. The best part? The breakfast spread was quite generous, featuring a decent variety including pastries, fruits, and hot dishes. However, some parts of breakfast were lacking. On a couple of mornings, the hot items were cold, and the service was a bit slow in replenishing the food trays. The air conditioning in my room struggled a bit. it felt like the temperature was either too hot or too cold without much in between. Overall, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff really made a difference. They were quick to address my questions and helped with transportation tickets, which was a nice touch. There were some cleanliness issues, particularly under the bed which had dust accumulating. While the hotel is convenient for access to Venice, I feel it could benefit from some upgrades to enhance the overall experience. Still, I would consider staying again for the convenience.
